Your new company You will be working for a large public sector organisation within Greater Manchester. The organisation is very reputable across the UK and is undergoing significant growth in multiple areas and departments. The contract on offer is going to be for a 6 month duration (with potential extensions) - working on a hybrid basis (2 days per week on site in Manchester, 3 days from home) - please note, this may be flexible some weeks if there are no major meetings on site. Your new role The individual selected will work alongside the other members of the project teams, helping to define new solutions and ensuring that any developments are carried out within the standards of the organisation. Responsibilities include: Creation of design documents for new applications and solutions Ensuring that all designs are created inline with the organisation's standards and policies. Presenting designs to fellow architects, the Technical Design Authority (TDA) and other forums for review. Creating options papers and similar documents Guiding the project teams on technical issues Liaising with technical teams to ensure a successful outcome Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams, PM's, BA's, Domain Architects and Dev teams Experience of managing and negotiating with senior stakeholders in different areas. Experience of maximising assets by reutilising and repurposing application stacks.
