About Us
Amplify Education is a newly formed multi-academy trust of 22 schools in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, created through the thoughtful and planned merger of TiLA and CST. A bold voice for Bristol, we build belief in every young person, expand opportunities, nurture potential and strengthen citizenship. If you’re looking for a Trust that is ambitious, reflective and collaborative, Amplify Education could be the perfect place for you.
We invite you to join our team at Bristol Cathedral Choir School. We exist to provide a world-class education for the children of Bristol – so that they leave with a deep understanding of the world around them. The school is a highly oversubscribed state cathedral choir school with a rich history and a Christian ethos. It is a music school, educating choristers for Bristol Cathedral for the past 880 years and offers an enhanced and rich musical experience for all. The school provides a traditional academic curriculum to its students, regardless of their background or ability, and emphasises the teaching of ‘Powerful Knowledge’.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our supportive and dynamic team from 1st September 2026. If you join us, a typical day in this role may see you supervising classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials, taking part in duties or attending whole school or year events. You will play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a calm, positive and focused classroom environment across the school.
You are likely to have gained strong communication skills and experience of working with young people through your career or personal experience. You will be able to bring to us confidence in managing groups of students and a calm, consistent approach to behaviour management.
