To help us achieve our expansion ambitions, we are looking for an Installation Operative to join our growing team. You will be based at our Chandlers Ford branch but will primarily work on customer sites, including construction, wastewater, and clean water projects, with occasional visits to the branch.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Promote and uphold the company's mission statement and core values to deliver high-quality installation services across the UK.
* Install pipework and assist drivers with loading, unloading, and checking paperwork, missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
* This is a physically demanding role, so good fitness levels are required.
* Identify and suggest creative solutions to improve our business's efficiency and attractiveness.
* Always prioritize safety, demonstrate confidence and knowledge to halt installations if safety issues arise, and inform your supervisor.

* Install pipework and assist with vehicle loading/unloading, checking for paperwork accuracy, damages, and missing items.
* Maintain good physical fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role.
* Suggest process improvements to enhance business efficiency and attractiveness.
* Prioritize safety at all times, with the confidence to stop work if safety concerns arise, and report issues to supervisors.

Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
* Ability to work on various client sites, including construction, wastewater, and clean water.
* Flexible working hours and availability for an ‘on call’ rota, likely 1 in 3 weekends.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and work away from home when necessary.
* Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points).
Preferred (but not essential):
* Construction skills CSCS card.
* National Water Hygiene Card.
* Confined space training.
* Forklift truck operator certification.
* Understanding of temporary/permanent pumping solutions.
This role involves working at heights, in confined spaces, lone working, and handling sewage.
