We’re working with a respected, growing engineering consultancy in Watford that is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to strengthen their team. The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions, managing site investigations, interpreting data, and providing robust foundation and earthworks recommendations.
You’ll also play a key role in:

Designing and overseeing ground investigations
*
Producing factual and interpretative reports
*
Foundation design (shallow and piled solutions)
*
Earthworks specifications and slope stability assessments
*
Client liaison and technical advisory support
*
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
This role offers a strong mix of technical delivery, client interaction, and leadership development.
What We’re Looking For
*
Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
*
Around 5+ years’ UK geotechnical consultancy experience
*
Strong interpretative reporting skills
*
Experience with industry-standard geotechnical software
*
Working towards Chartered status (ICE or Geological Society preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence
