The Opportunity:
A welcoming and high-performing secondary school in the Rickmansworth area is seeking a fully qualified English Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if you have the experience). The school is looking for an inspiring teacher who can engage students through creative, well-structured lessons and make a real impact on academic outcomes.

The Role:
* Teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 teaching available if experienced)
* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
* Assessing and monitoring student progress in line with school policies
* Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Attending departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and CPD as required

Candidate Requirements:
* QTS, PGCE, QTLS, or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
* Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
* A passion for English and a commitment to raising student attainment
* A creative, energetic, and positive approach to teaching
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
