Audit & Accounts Manager

We’re working with a well-established and expanding accountancy practice in Romford that’s looking for an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified (or highly experienced) audit professional to step into a leadership role, managing a varied portfolio and playing a key part in the firm’s continued success.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Leading audits for medium to large clients, including group consolidations
* Reviewing accounts and tax computations
* Supporting advisory and value-added client work
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Mentoring and developing junior team members
* Travelling to client sites across the UK as required
What we’re looking for
* Strong audit and accounts experience within an accountancy practice
* Proven experience with group consolidations (essential)
* Good working knowledge of tax
* Experience with solicitors and/or charities (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
