Children's Services - Management Information Officer
Children's Services requires a Management Information Officer to support and promote the delivery of the Renfrewshire Attainment Challenge. You will work as part of the project team to lead the development and delivery of a sector-leading approach to raising attainment and improvement across Renfrewshire establishments, ensuring that all children have access to high-quality education regardless of their socio-economic background, with the aim of closing the equity gap across all schools and establishments in Renfrewshire.
You will be responsible for the collation and verification of data to support the promotion, performance management, planning, delivery, and ongoing review of the Attainment Challenge. Additionally, you will support the coordination of consultation activities related to the Challenge.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
1. Experience working on successful large-scale projects in the education sector with a demonstrable record of achievement.
2. Experience working successfully in partnership with external agencies, along with substantial experience in performance management and reporting.
3. Experience in the implementation, monitoring, and development of policy, with knowledge of the legislative and policy environment of education.
4. Data analysis, performance management, project development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation skills.
5. Effective analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills relating to the Attainment Challenge.
6. Proficiency with management information systems such as SEEMIS, Insight, Business Objects, with proven data analysis and presentation skills.
7. Demonstrable experience in report writing is essential.
This is a temporary position, subject to business needs and funding, for up to 8 months or until the requirement ceases, whichever is earlier.
