Responsibilities
Registered nurses (RNs) provide safe, competent patient care, educate patients and families about health conditions, and offer emotional support.
PRN Status Clause
This is a PRN as‑needed position. You must be available to work at least 12 hours bi‑weekly, as needed according to departmental demands. Additional hours may be required. Work hours may vary.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. RN staff hired after July 1, 2013 with an associate or diploma degree must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully obtain a BSN within four years of the RN hire date. Minimum one year of work experience as a registered nurse required. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
