What is the job role?
An exciting opportunity has become available at Coundon Primary School. We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher in KS2. This is an excellent opportunity for a middle leader looking to progress to senior leadership or an Assistant Headteacher seeking to broaden their experience in a new setting.
The position is to start in September 2025, according to the notice period required.
There is an opportunity to visit the school and meet with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher on Tuesday 13th May at 1.30 pm. Please contact the school if you would like to attend.
Who are we looking for?
We aim to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher and leader who can support the Headteacher in embedding and further developing high-quality teaching and learning across KS2. We are looking for someone who is:
1. Passionate about learning and can demonstrate outstanding leadership.
2. An excellent classroom practitioner with a clear vision for curriculum development.
3. Deeply understands the needs of different children and is passionate about providing the best for all students.
4. Knowledgeable about safeguarding and the leader's role in this process.
5. Willing to contribute to organisation and policy development.
6. Possesses the personality, drive, and energy to motivate and support our learning community.
