Essential:Doctoral qualification (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology.HCPC registration.Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division.Skilled in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism settingExperience working with clients with cognitive deficitsPrevious experience of conducting research and project working
Job Responsibilities:Supporting referral assessments and completing initial assessments for referred service usersProviding specialist psychological interventions through direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) work, while making independent clinical decisions.Deliver therapeutic interventions for service users with complex presentations and carry out comprehensive assessments using a range of structured psychometric tools and semi-structured clinical methodsTake full professional and legal responsibility for all clinical work, ensuring accountability for care and outcomes.Maintain high standards of practice in line with the HCPC code of conduct professional guidelines, and company policies.
