Vehicle Maintenance Technician
Location: Saxham (Bury St Edmunds) - On-Site Workshop
Shift Pattern (rotation):
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 0600-1500
Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 1430-2330
Overtime - Saturday Mornings:
On-Call Rota: 1 in 4 weeks (Additional payment for on call)
Join our team as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for action. Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles, trailers, and workshop equipment. You'll work on a rotating shift pattern, including early and late days, with opportunities for overtime and on-call duties, ensuring our fleet is always prepared to support UK homes and businesses. Conducting routine inspections and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
* Maintaining workshop tools and equipment to high standards
* Supporting fleet safety and compliance through thorough servicing
* Participating in specialised training programmes to enhance your skills
Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent practical experience
* Knowledge of vehicle systems, trailers, and workshop equipment
* Desirable: HGV C licence, ADR certification (training support available)
Industry-leading training including LPG, IRTEC, and HGV licensing opportunities
