The Role: Back of House Consultant
As a Back of House Consultant, you’ll take full ownership of recruiting for chef and kitchen roles, managing both clients and candidates. You’ll be responsible for building a strong pipeline of talent, filling vacancies quickly, and ensuring our clients receive a first-class service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the full 360° recruitment process for back-of-house roles (chefs, kitchen porters, etc.)
-Source, screen, and place high-quality candidates into temporary and permanent positions
-Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates
-Actively develop new business opportunities within the hospitality sector
-Use job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and networks to attract top culinary talent
-Conduct interviews and prepare candidate profiles for client submissions
-Handle urgent vacancies, ensuring smooth and timely placements
-Keep accurate and up-to-date records on our internal systems
What We’re Looking For:
-Previous experience in recruitment (hospitality/chef sector experience highly desirable)
-Strong client management and business development skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with chefs and kitchen staff
-Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple roles and deadlines
-A proactive, resilient, and self-motivated approach
-Knowledge of sourcing platforms (job boards, LinkedIn, hospitality networks) is a plus
-A genuine passion for hospitality and helping people succeed
