Role Overview:
As a Crew Team Leader, you will be part of the management team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure the safe operation of the store, manage the team, and deliver excellent service.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional service, using your knowledge to help customers find products that suit them, both in-store and across multi-channel sales.
2. Resolve customer issues effectively and promptly at store level.
3. Manage tills efficiently, processing POS transactions and thanking customers.
4. Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business through opt-in at the POS.
5. Delegate tasks and demonstrate leadership in daily store operations.
6. Understand the commercial aspects of retail, including reading reports, analyzing data, and making informed decisions.
7. Ensure the store is visually appealing, adhering to company standards through product presentation, replenishment, store housekeeping, and seasonal setups.
8. Maintain business security by ensuring compliance with policies, loss prevention, and health & safety standards, especially in the absence of management.
9. Stay updated on company products, activities, and promotions, and implement changes as needed.
Role Competencies:
1. Proven leadership skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
2. Experience in a customer service environment is essential.
3. Experience with POS management, daily banking procedures, and meeting deadlines.
4. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
5. A collaborative, positive attitude with confidence in taking initiative and working independently.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure, quickly learning new tasks and retaining information.
7. Team player who actively engages with team activities.
8. Strong time management skills.
