The Team
You’ll work closely with the Crew Planning Team and report to the Senior Hotel and Travel Officer. As the Hotel and Travel expert for our Crew Duty travel, you’ll ensure our crew have their hotel and transport arrangements booked and communicated in the most cost-efficient and supportive way, always ensuring compliance with legalities surrounding aircrew rosters.
The Role
As Crew Planning Hotel and Travel Officer, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our crew are where they need to be, rested and ready to deliver great service. You’ll oversee the delivery and maintenance of crew roster travel and hotel requirements, manage the HATS system, and build strong relationships with suppliers. You’ll also support special programmes, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
Key responsibilities include:
ØOverseeing crew roster travel and hotel requirements in line with legal, company, and industrial agreements
ØManaging the HATS system, approving charges, negotiating rates, and integrating alternative hotel accommodations
ØMonitoring hotel and transport availability, maintaining excellent relationships with providers, and managing reconciliation and approval processes
ØResponding to complaints and investigating safety cases related to crew hotel and transport
ØManaging special programmes such as Government Repatriation and handling immigration requests in collaboration with the Aviation Security Team
ØConducting UAT testing on HATS and AIMS systems, and performing monthly invoice reconciliations
ØSupporting the Senior Hotel & Travel Officer and Crew Planning Support Manager with additional tasks and projects
