We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and motivated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Chatham, Kent from September 2026.
This is a full-time, permanent position with full classroom responsibility, making it an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and Year 2 expectations
Be confident in planning, teaching, assessing, and tracking pupil progress
Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
Have excellent classroom management skills
Be committed to raising standards and supporting all pupils to achieve their full potential
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Work effectively as part of a dedicated school team
