Restart Advisor Birmingham
Salary: Starting salary £28,325 per annum. Raising to £30,325 subject to meeting key operational performance requirements (to be discussed further at interview).

Full Time: 37.5 hours (Monday – Friday 09:00–17:00)

What you’ll be doing
* Collaborate with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and outline the steps needed to secure meaningful employment.
* Meet and exceed performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.
* Understand and signpost participants to internal and external services addressing needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
* Ensure participants have well‑crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to aid job searches.
* Prepare participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, and help them build confidence.
* Maintain accurate electronic participant records that reflect the full range of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and to required standards.
* Attend face‑to‑face meetings at the office when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in very busy environments.
* Ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge participants to achieve their fullest potential.
* Strong track record of delivering against and exceeding performance targets and engaging participants in personal growth and mindset transformation.
* Exceptional communication skills—able to inspire and influence participants while addressing diverse needs with flexibility, robustness, and creativity; also contact employers and other stakeholders to identify opportunities.
* Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges.
* High‑level digital literacy.
* Excellent organisational skills—able to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional support while juggling multiple priorities.
