Location: Wincanton, Somerset
Salary: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Job Type: Temporary (Monday 11th May – Friday 15th May)
Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:00
Are you a skilled Painter & Decorator looking for a week’s consistent work? We are looking for a professional to help refresh a farmhouse that has recently been converted into modern offices in Wincanton.
If you take pride in a high-quality finish and have experience in commercial or residential decorating, this is an excellent opportunity for a week-long project with competitive pay.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Internal Decorating: Painting walls, ceilings, and woodwork across office areas, meeting rooms, and communal spaces.
* Surface Preparation: Sanding, filling, and priming surfaces to ensure a professional finish.
* Feature Areas: Working within a converted farmhouse environment, maintaining the character of the building while providing a clean, modern look.
* Site Care: Ensuring all flooring and office fixtures are properly protected while working.
What We’re Looking For:
* Skilled Trade Background: Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
* Quality Focused: A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
* Reliable: You must be able to commit to the full 5-day week (Mon–Fri).
* Tools & PPE: You will need your own basic decorating tools and standard PPE (Safety boots/white overalls).
