The School and Role
This Academy is a unique multi-site specialist provision supporting pupils who are unable to attend mainstream education due to medical, mental health or additional needs. Operating across 11 centres, including hospital settings, the academy promotes a “Think Differently” ethos with small class sizes, strong pastoral support and a focus on wellbeing alongside academic progress. The role involves supporting students in lessons and managing behaviour across SEN settings.
Requirements
The desired SEN Youth Worker will have;
Experience of working with children or young people with complex needs/SEND
A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
A passion for supporting individual progress and wellbeing
An ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
