Renal, Melanoma and CUP Consultant (Full-time Locum)
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated full-time Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist with responsibility in Renal, Melanoma and CUP cancers at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

At NUH we deliver exceptional, holistic care through multiprofessional collaboration, supporting patients every step of their cancer journey. In this role you will provide high‑quality clinical care at NUH and the satellite service at Kings Mill Hospital. Beyond clinical duties you will contribute to education, supervision, leadership and innovative research.
Responsibilities
* Outpatient clinics: reviewing new, on‑treatment and follow‑up patients with melanoma and renal cancer.
* Inpatient ward rounds.
* Participation in skin and urology MDTs.
* Support to the CNS team for ad‑hoc queries and clinic patients.
* Training and support for SPRs and ward resident doctors.
* Prescribing immunotherapy, targeted therapy and chemotherapy for melanoma and renal cancer.
* Investigating and managing treatment and cancer complications.
The oncology service serves a resident population of 1.1 million and sees approximately 5,000 new patients each year across City Hospital and Kings Mill Hospital. It provides comprehensive non‑surgical oncology services across the East Midlands.
Key facilities include:
* Four dedicated oncology inpatient wards with 66 beds, including a dedicated Teenage and Young Adult Unit.
* One oncology outpatient department.
* Two outpatient systemic therapy wards with 35 chairs and a satellite clinic at Kings Mill Hospital with 11 additional chairs.
* A 24‑hour admission service with a 20‑bed Specialist Receiving Unit shared with Haematology.
* A Same Day Emergency Care Unit and a rapid‑response triage line manned by our nurse‑led Cancer Admission Triage Team.
