A busy and growing architectural project management studio in Bermondsey is looking for a highly organised and personable Bookkeeper & Office Manager. This is a finance-led role, requiring confidence in day-to-day bookkeeping — ideally with strong Xero experience — and responsibilities for general office management.
This is not an accountant role; no tax returns or complex financial strategies are involved. The key duties include raising and chasing invoices, reconciling accounts, logging expenses, managing project budgets, and collaborating with external accountants to ensure smooth operations.
Additionally, you will oversee office functions such as managing supplies, couriers, post, bookings, and greeting clients and visitors. The role suits someone who enjoys structure, variety, and being a reliable team member.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience or relevant qualification with practical experience
* Proficiency in Xero is essential
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
* Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor with strong communication skills
* Organised, versatile, and team-oriented
