1. Business Partnering:Act as the finance business partner, managing and driving various projects and providing ad-hoc analysis on commercial and other casesBe the first point of contact to support the business and closely monitor and improve profitability and efficiencies, both on a commercial and on an OPEX level
2. Planning, budgeting & forecasting: Challenge & translate commercial volume forecasts to sales, costs and EBIT two times per year in a recurring cycle; setting targets during one of the two cyclesTemplate & process owner of planning, budgeting & forecast process for Lotus UKAd-hoc forecast updates and simulations depending on business needs
3. Monthly Closing: Ensure timely and accurate closing on a monthly basis of all accounts, including all necessary accruals and prepaymentsTemplate & process owner of commercial reporting, incl continuous improvementProvide input in the monthly report that is distributed to ExCoEnsure accuracy of both P&L and B/S
4. Pricing, Costing & Profitability ManagementEnsure provisions for rebates & discounts are created, followed-up and corrected frequentlyEnsure reported margins are analyzed and improved where neededTemplate & process owner of Sales Office master data, pricing of specific productsIdentify cost drivers and ensure long term cost improvements
5. OtherPrepare business reviews for senior managementSupport with audit queriesSupport SAP implementation: testing

Experience and specific knowledge
6. Experience from a similar controller position working in a commercial environment.
7. Qualified accountant
8. Academic education within a business / finance / economics
9. High proficiency in MS Excel & Powerpoint, experience from using SAP and MS Office
10. Fluent in English
