The opportunity: As an integral part of the WestRock PM&A future success, reporting to the Operations Director the CI Lean Manager will be responsible for auditing the processes taking place within a project and the organization linked to them in order to propose measures to improve the functioning in terms of quality/cost/times for stakeholder satisfaction. In this role, you lead CI initiatives for two sites, Gorleston (UK) and Deols (France).
How you will impact WestRock:
1. Lead CI Lean and have knowledge of specific business tools and methodologies, use and implement: VSM (value stream mapping), 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, flow analysis, FMEA, six sigma, SOP and quality standardization.
2. Manage and drive change management on site
3. Detect CI projects and carry out an inventory of the functioning of a process or organization to be optimized.
4. Identify points of progress by carrying out a process map.
5. Define and prioritize improvement projects based on targeted gains.
6. Define priorities and an action plan with management
7. Set up and analyze performance indicators
8. Carry out quality system improvements.
9. Audit the performance of existing means of production
10. Organise and lead meetings, workshops, brainstorming
11. Initiate and manage lean management projects, re-organisation and improvement of productivity, production and ergonomics
12. Identify areas of progress and the implementation of actions plans associated production methods.
13. Supervise the qualification and development of phases of processes and tools.
14. Implement new techniques, new improvement methods and reliable and appropriate operational and financial indicators.
15. Lead cross functional working groups to deploy the approach to continued progress for all teams.
16. Benchmark and standardize best practices.

33. Promoting positive performance analysis for project activity What Went Well (WWW) and Area for Improvement (AFI) reporting
