We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our Procurement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with procurement experience who is keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced, purpose-driven organisation. This role would suit someone currently working as a Procurement Administrator or Junior Buyer looking to take the next step in their career.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply across the business, supporting supplier relationships, and driving best value through effective procurement practices. This is a hybrid role, working from our office in Beaconsfield, 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
* Ensuring continuity of supply for goods and services across key spend areas
* Supporting Category Managers with day‑to‑day procurement activities (raising and tracking purchase orders, supplier coordination)
* Acting as the first escalation point for purchasing issues
* Managing supplier relationships and maintaining accurate contract records within procurement systems
* Supporting RFI, RFP, tendering, and negotiation processes
* Working closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice queries and identify root causes
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and deliver on business needs
* Producing spend analysis reports and contributing to category strategies
* Supporting supplier performance management and regular reviews
* Assisting in contract management and supplier sourcing activities
* Contributing to procurement‑related projects, including new site mobilisation
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience working within a procurement function or similar environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to prioritise and work effectively under pressure
* Proactive, collaborative, and solution‑focused approach
* Good analytical skills, with experience working with data and reports
* Confident using Excel (intermediate level)
