An incredible 3 form entry Primary School in North Bristol is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join one of their KS1 classes. You will have great opportunities for personal development and growth. The Role You will be joining a great team within the KS1 classrooms, supporting children on a 1 to 1 basis and in small groups. You will be running interventions focusing on core subjects, developing children’s understanding and knowledge. The Head Teacher is also looking for a candidate who has had experience working with SEND children as there may be times that you will need to work 1 to 1 with SEND children in the KS1 classrooms. You will be expected to: Has high expectations of the pupil you will be working with. Able to communicate and work with the Class Teacher closely. Hold high expectations of the children’s development and work. Liaise with the SENCo for additional activities to support SEND children. Show initiative and flexibility.
