Scheduler – Knaresborough, HG5
£14.50 per hour (DOE) | Office based | Temp to Perm
Pertemps are recruiting for an organised and detail-focused Scheduler to join a busy Scheduling team in Knaresborough.
The role is office based within a busy Scheduling team and involves coordinating planned maintenance, small works and emergency callouts, ensuring all jobs are accurately scheduled and allocated to the appropriate engineers.
This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with a permanent contract offered after 12 weeks subject to performance.
Working Hours:- Monday to Thursday: 08:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 08:30am – 4:30pm
What you’ll be doing:- Scheduling and prioritising work using the internal system
- Allocating jobs based on engineer location, availability and skill set
- Handling emergency callouts and working to SLA targets
- Liaising with customers and dealing with incoming queries
- Providing clear job information to engineers to help avoid repeat visits
- Answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately
- Updating systems and maintaining accurate records, including Excel
- Supporting reception cover when needed
- Ensuring completed works are processed through to invoicing
What we’re looking for:- Experience in an office or customer service environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Confident telephone manner and good communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in
