We manufacture a wide range of cryogenic and measurement systems and sub-assemblies, from multi-million-pound custom builds to smaller instruments. We are seeking a candidate to contribute to the ongoing development of these products, focusing on application and measurement.
Role Responsibilities
1. Support the development of products and measurement techniques that meet customer needs.
2. Complete concept designs, develop designs, validate products, and provide technical support during manufacturing.
3. Develop detailed test documentation, define test procedures, interpret data, and compile reports.
4. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Candidate Requirements
* Ability to understand customer requirements and measurement challenges.
* Prior knowledge of cryogenic systems and magnetic fields is beneficial.
* Typically holds a PhD in physical sciences or a relevant degree with extensive experience in experiment design and automation at low temperatures.
* Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
