A major UK & International logistics and freight forwarding organisation is looking for a customer service professional with some road freight or logistics experience to manage critical land freight documentation, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting both internal and external customers with professionalism and efficiency.
ROLE: Export Logistics customer Services LOCATION: Essex BASIC SALARY: £30k HOURS Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
ROLE: Process and manage documentation for inbound and outbound road and logistics shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with KPIs.
Respond promptly to customer and supplier queries and complaints, delivering excellent customer service.
Handle invoice processing, charge distribution, and interdepartmental cross-billing.
Maintain and organize shipment-related paperwork to support seamless operations.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient communication and workflow.
Enter data accurately and efficiently to maintain operational integrity.
Use Microsoft Office tools to support administrative tasks.
About You
Previous administration experience is desirable, with knowledge of the road freight or logistics industry as a bonus.
Strong customer service skills and a professional communication style (both written and verbal).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage high workloads and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with working knowledge of SAP.
Ability to make consistent and well-considered decisions in challenging situations.
