Position: Learning Support Assistant – KS3/KS4
Hours: 8:45 – 3:45 (half hour lunch) term time only – 32.5 hours per week
Type: Temporary – Full time

Pay: £93 - £106/day

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient learning support assistant to work within a resource unit in Blackpool supporting children who present with Challenging behaviours, all of whom have been allocated an educational healthcare plan (EHCP) for SEMH. You will be supporting children from the ages of 11-16 in all core subjects both within the classroom, and 1:1 interventions outside of the classroom when necessary.
School:
The school is a dedicated alternative provision supporting children with EHCPs for SEMH with as well as some other additional needs.
The school is located in Blackpool and is connected to local public transport links.Requirements:
You will be required to complete a full suite of compliance checks, which includes, but is not limited to, DBS checks, right to work checks, ID checks.
Prior experience working with challenging behaviours is essential as the children within the provision have severely challenging behaviours.
level 2 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
Team Teach qualification is desirable but not essentialYOU WILL NEED TO
Have UK Right to Work Status.
Hold a TA qualification or have relevant work experience.
