Brocklehurst Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and caring Nursing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to Registered Nurses and assist in delivering safe, person-centred care to our residents. You will help maintain residents' dignity, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to a positive and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Registered Nurses with medication administration and care planning.
* Assist in the safe and efficient delivery of care to residents under supervision.
* Ensure all documentation and handovers are accurate and completed on time.
* Promote and maintain residents' dignity, privacy, and comfort.
* Understand and support the home's aims, values, policies, and procedures.
* Support the smooth running of the care floor and delegation where appropriate.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in medication management, administration, and care planning.
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is advantageous.
* Experience supervising or running a care floor is desirable.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
* Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts and weekends.
