Programme Delivery Lead – Stansted – 12 Month Contract (40 hours per week) - £500 - £550 per day (Inside IR35)
Our client are a consultancy working on large scale airport projects. You will need experience working in an airport or other live environments.
You will be overseeing the delivery of a multi project programme consisting of Skylines, APV and baggage projects. You will be managing a team of Project Managers ensuring everything is up to schedule and quality.
Working Patterns and location – This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week on site at Stansted.
The Key Responsibilities of a Programme delivery Lead:
* Lead and coordinate the overall programme delivery across SkyLinks, APV, and Baggage projects.
* Manage and support Project Managers, ensuring consistent application of governance, processes, and reporting standards.
* Oversee programme schedule, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
* Monitor progress and performance across all projects, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues.
* Report monthly to leadership teams through structured Monthly Performance Reviews.
* Support procurement activities for baggage systems and ensure readiness for installation phases.
* Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across airport operations, contractors, and internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for a Programme delivery Lead, however you will not be expected to have everything:
* Proven experience in leading complex infrastructure programmes, ideally within an aviation environment.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and drive coordinated delivery.
* Excellent programme planning, risk management, and reporting skills.
* Comfortable working in live operational environments with multiple stakeholder interfaces.
