If the answer is yes, then read on as we are looking for someone who to join our small Communications team within Corporate Services. You will need to be tenacious and be resilient as you may put forward views/ideas/content which may or may not be accepted, you will also deal with some communications that may be complex, contentious and/or confidential. The role will oversee all corporate communications. You will plan communication campaigns and provide day to day communications, marketing and engagement activity, advice and support for the Council; to help support the promotion of a positive image of the borough and to enhance and protect the reputation of the Council. You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, approachable, be able work on own initiative but as part of a team to strive to provide high quality services and be customer focused. This post has been designated as sensitive and as politically restricted.
