Overview of Role
The Hygiene Team Member will ensure that hygiene and housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level across the site. Responsibilities include cleaning facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to the highest standards in accordance with ABSS requirements. The role also emphasizes safety for yourself and colleagues, aligning with the 'Safety First' vision and mission.
You will work a rotational pattern of days and nights: 2 weeks days, then 2 weeks nights, with 3 days in week 1 and 4 days in week 2. Shifts are 12 hours, from 6 to 6, with all breaks paid.

Key Accountabilities
* Adhere to daily schedules and meet required standards
* Contribute to team efforts and meet KPIs
* Follow instructions and guidelines from the hygiene department
* Inform Hygiene Controller/Coordinator of task completion
* Identify and address potential food safety risks
* Report hazards or defects
* Manage work wear deliveries from laundry
* Assist in waste reduction and removal
* Clean site perimeter and facilities, including canteen
* Operate floor cleaning machinery

* Work with pest control to minimize pest activity
