Service Manager
CK Group are currently recruiting for a Service Manager, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company.
Location:
This role will be based at their site in Gateshead and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri daytime working hours.

The Role:
The successful candidate will lead and develop a skilled team of service engineers, working closely with the Technical Support Team to ensure all customer issues are resolved efficiently and within key performance targets.
This is primarily a site-based role, with travel for emergency cover and support estimated to be less than 25%. International travel will be required more than UK travel.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and schedule all preventive maintenance and repair visits
2. Act as a forward-facing point of contact for customers and distributors
3. Provide direct and remote service support within the UK and internationally
4. Ensure emergency breakdown response within 24 hours (Mon–Fri)
5. Lead, train, and develop the service team to meet performance goals
Your Background:
6. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Service Manager or Team Leader in a technical service environment
7. Proven track record managing and developing customer-facing service teams
8. Strong understanding of electronics, mechanics, and software (qualification or relevant experience required)
9. Medial diagnostics experience would be advantageous
