Key Criteria:
Essential
* 2:2 or above in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant STEM degree
* Right to work in the UK from programme start date
* Willingness to relocate or travel for placements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrates adaptability, curiosity, and an interest in major infrastructure or energy projects
* Eligible for UK Security Vetting
* Confident working in a fast-paced, changing project environment
Desirable
* Internship or placement experience in engineering, construction, or project environments
* Interest in low-carbon energy, sustainability, or nuclear new build
* Evidence of leadership, teamwork or extracurricular involvement
* Awareness of project management tools or methodologies (e.g., MS Project, risk management, project planning basics)
About the Programme
Over two years, you’ll rotate through multiple project teams, developing technical, commercial, and leadership skills while working alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and industry experts.
You’ll gain exposure to:
* Large-scale, multi-discipline project delivery
* Planning, scheduling, risk and cost management
* Engineering project controls
* Stakeholder management in a complex, fast-moving environment
* Digital tools and modern project delivery methods
You’ll have a dedicated career manager, placement manager, mentor and buddy to support your development throughout.
Previous graduates have progressed into roles such as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Contributing to live project work within engineering, construction, and project delivery teams
* Supporting project planning, reporting, governance and assurance
* Learning how major infrastructure projects are designed, built, and controlled
* Developing leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
* Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across different business units
Location & Travel
Your main base will be Suffolk, but you may undertake 6-month placements at other UK locations to broaden your experience of the nuclear and energy sector.
