Youth Support Worker
Join Our Team as a Youth Support Worker
Are you passionate about supporting and inspiring the next generation? We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic support worker to join our team and support the new weekly youth sessions.
What You'll Do:
* Lead/assist fun and engaging sessions for children of ages
* Develop and Maintain positive relationships with young people, allowing delivery of effective targeted youth work.
* Engage with young people to create and deliver informal and accredited learning opportunities.
* Focus on building strong relationships and fostering a supportive environment.
* Ensure every session is enjoyable and inclusive.
What We're Looking For:
* Level 2 or above in youth work or equivalent experience.
* Ability to motivate individuals and support behaviour change
* Knowledge of young people and issues and barriers they are facing.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience of assessing the needs of young people using assessment tools.
* Commitment to creating a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
This role is created in partnership with Holmes Chapel Parish Council
Contract - 12 Month (Term-Time Only Contract)
Hours: 3 Hrs per week
Salary: £12.36 per hour
Location; Holmes Chapel Community Centre
Closing date: 31st August 2025
