YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue across corporate, group, and leisure segments.
Proactively identify, research, and secure new business opportunities for the hotel.
Manage existing client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Work closely with the General Manager and Marriott Sales teams to maximise market share and meet or exceed sales targets.
Prepare regular reports on sales activity, performance, and market trends.
Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote the brand and build visibility.
Ensure all sales activity aligns with the Cycas and Marriott brand standards and values.
Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to deliver seamless event execution and guest experiences.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Proven experience in a proactive sales role within the hospitality industry (hotel sales experience essential).
Strong understanding of local market dynamics and corporate business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience working with a Marriott brand or other internationally recognised hotel group is desirable.
Knowledge of sales systems such as CI/TY or SalesForce is an advantage.
