Support Worker - Birmingham WEEKENDS ONLY! Hours: Shifts - AM 07:30 - 14:30 | PM 14:30 - 21:30 | NIGHTS 21:30 - 7:30 - WEEKENDS ONLY! Location: Birmingham Start Date: ASAP Your new company Ongoing support workers are needed across the Birmingham Area to work in and across adult settings, providing ongoing support to the residents at the homes. The working hours are flexible to work around you and can include day and night shifts as well, for this role in particular it will be weekends shifts only. Your new role Your main role as a support worker will be ensuring the safety and comfort of service users. You will predominantly be working with elderly service users, so as well as carrying out tasks to ensure the smooth running of the home, you should also encourage service users to have confidence and independence and encourage engagement in activities. The role will include personal care, and hygiene upkeep dependant on each service users' needs. You will be working with people from a variety of backgrounds, with varying levels of needs.
