About the role Our finance team works with all areas of our business and interacts with both internal and external stakeholders. The team focuses on implementing best practice and providing meaningful management information that drives business decisions. What you will be doing Roles and responsibilities include: Supplier invoice coding and recording on the accounting system Supporting the preparation of payment runs Corresponding with suppliers regarding any issues Bank reconciliations Credit card reconciliations Assisting with customer invoicing and recording on the accounting system Assisting with the closed opportunities process Other finance and admin tasks as required Who we are looking for The successful candidate will demonstrate: A proven track record: You will have previous experience working in a financial role providing similar finance based administrative support within a busy team Proficiency with business tools: You will have knowledge and experience working with Google Suite and Excel and other appropriate technology and systems, with a willingness to increase capability Communication skills: You will be an excellent communicator, collaborator Organisational skills and keen attention to detail: You will work with a high degree of accuracy and effectively plan to ensure that tasks are actioned and followed up to ensure completion Numerical and analytical skills: You will enjoy working with numbers and will have an analytical mindset Delivering with others: An excellent team player, capable of working across a large and disparate business to achieve their goals Focused on continuous improvement: You will look for opportunities to keep improving our processes and service to make sure that our offering remains the best in the market An interest in a finance career: You will have an enthusiasm for a career in finance and a desire to grow you knowledge and skills in a finance role Although not essential, it would be advantageous to have the following experience: Knowledge and experience of using Netsuite software Knowledge and experience of using Salesforce software Working at Learning Pool With over 450 people across seven offices globally, the Learning Pool team is filled with people who have a real passion for what they do and a fresh approach to partnering with customers.
