* Location: Welcoming Mainstream Primary School
* Role: Teaching Assistant : Supporting Students with Additional Needs
* Contract: Full:time, Term:time only
Your Impact: What Youll Do
You will be instrumental in helping students with Autism and/or ADHD fully engage with school life. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Tailored Support: Providing crucial 1:1 or small group assistance to pupils to help them access the curriculum and participate confidently.
* Emotional and Social Development: Helping students manage their emotions, build social skills, and develop self:confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
* Implementation: Assisting the Class Teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and faithfully implementing individual education and behaviour plans.
* Positive Environment: Fostering positive relationships and promoting an inclusive, engaging, and independent learning environment for all pupils.
Were Looking For
While formal qualifications arent mandatory, a genuine commitment to supporting children is essential.
* Passion is Paramount: A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
* Experience (Desirable): Previous experience supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable, but not essential:we welcome candidates with the right attitude
* Key Skills: Ability to assist with tailored learning, implement plans, and foster positive relationships.
* Compliance: Must have or be willing for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and possess the Right to Work in the UK.
