About Us
Solent Bodybuilders & Repairs Ltd, Build commercial vehicle bodies and repair accident damaged vehicles we're based in West Segensworth, Hampshire, UK.
The Role
Your role will include the following;
* Completion of time sheets, material schedules and all other company paperwork to be carried out diligently, precisely and legible.
* Stripping down of various types of vehicles, including the possibility of working in confined spaces.
* Carry out any repairs to ALL types of commercial vehicles from small vans.
* Repairs to include the replacement of damaged panels and then making good of damaged panels.
* Quality control of own work.
* Assisting in other departments whenever needed, mainly in the lifting of panelled sides and roofs etc.
* Disposing of all old panels and packaging that the new panels were delivered in.
* Ensuring your work area always remains clean, tidy and free from any hazards.
* All of the above will involve working at height and the lifting of heavy items.
* All of the above must be carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislations.
* All processes to be carried out under current E.P.A legislations.
* The correct PPE to be used / worn at all times.
* The use of all materials must be used in accordance with data sheets supplied.
* Any other reasonable task
The shifts for this role are:
* Monday – Friday
* Lunch breaks are 30 minutes
