Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - GL14, Cinderford - £34,000 plus SA - Permanent basis - Rotating AM, PM and Nights - Free parking, company Pension.
A leading Manufacturing Company is looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis due to continued growth in the business.
The successful Shift Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for;
Carrying out any electrical/mechanical remedial work on production machinery to achieve optimum machine utilisation's
Liaising with Shift leaders and operators to prioritise jobs and achieve efficient repairs with as little interruption to production as possible
To ensure that all factory essential services are maintained, i.e., electrical supplies, compressed air, nitrogen, water, effluent systems
To ensure at all times that all running machinery is kept in a safe condition
To log on the pc-based maintenance system, full details of all work carried out, thereby helping to maintain the company's machine historical records
Carry out PAT testing where required to ensure company equipment is maintained in a safe condition
Carry out PM work on Payoff Stands and other equipment as requested
Carry out project/development work as requested
Notifying the Engineering Coordinator of any issues that may need further attention
In order to be considered for this role you must have the following;
Previous experience within a similar role
Ideally a time-served apprenticeship
Mechanical and Electrical competence
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team
