Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Maintenance Professional with a focus on Supply Chain to join their team in Samlesbury. This is a 12-month contract position that requires on-site presence and contributes critical support to the Military, Air & Information business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the maintenance processes within the supply chain
Ensuring the integrity and efficiency of supply chain operations
Implementing and monitoring maintenance schedules and procedures
Collaborating with various departments to streamline supply chain activities
Identifying and mitigating any risks associated with the supply chain
Ensuring compliance with all relevant security protocols and industry standards
Conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain quality and performance
Providing regular reports and updates to the management team
Job Requirements:
Experience in supply chain management within the Defence & Security sector
Strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures
Ability to work on-site in Samlesbury under fully on-site hybrid arrangements
Active Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain one
Understanding of ITAR and UK Eyes-only restrictions
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
