Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Dual Fuel Engineer based in York. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing gas and electric meters in residential and commercial properties. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing excellent customer service during all interactions. Efficient route planning and effective time management will be expected as you work independently in a field-based environment.
Qualifications
Expertise in gas and electric meter installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Understanding of industry safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
Valid driving license and ability to travel across assigned areas
Relevant qualifications such as ACS Certificates (Gas Safe), MOCOPA certification, or equivalent
Previous experience as a Dual Fuel Engineer in the energy metering sector is advantageous
