Role: Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer/Conveyancer Location: Flexible – Sheffield, Knaresborough, Wakefield or Huddersfield Hybrid Working: (1–2 days in the office per week)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + benefits
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ residential conveyancing experience
The Role:
A respected and expanding law firm in Leeds is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its established Residential Property team. You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, providing a high-quality service to clients in a supportive and flexible working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
2. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors
3. Ensuring files are handled efficiently and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
4. Delivering excellent client care throughout the process
Requirements:
5. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
6. Minimum 3 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
7. Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
8. Excellent communication and organisational skills
9. Proficient in using case management systems and familiar with digital conveyancing practices
