As a Conference Producer, you’ll work at the intersection of science, innovation, business, and global sustainability. You’ll research emerging trends, analyse market shifts, and translate insights into high-level conference programmes that shape strategic dialogue across food-tech, ag-tech, and materials innovation.
You’ll be responsible for researching, designing, and delivering high-impact international B2B conferences. This includes creating compelling agendas, securing world-class speakers, and collaborating closely with the Food Navigator and AgTech Navigator editorial teams, as well as business development and marketing. You’ll also host live and virtual events globally.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Conducting in-depth desk and phone research into industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, engaging directly with industry professionals, investors, and startup founders.
2. Designing and writing engaging, forward-looking agendas for international conferences that spark strategic dialogue.
3. Securing high-profile speakers, thought leaders, and investors to bring diverse perspectives to every event.
4. Developing marketing content for websites, brochures, and emails to showcase conference impact and relevance.
5. Collaborating closely with business development and marketing teams to drive sponsor, exhibitor, and delegate engagement.
6. Traveling internationally to co-manage live events and host as MC on stage during conference delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need:
7. Strong research skills to quickly master new industry topics and identify key trends and influencers.
8. Commercial acumen to understand how to structure conferences that deliver real business value.
9. Excellent communication skills, especially in connecting and engaging with senior professionals and C-level business leaders and writing persuasive content.
10. Excellent project management and writing skills, with the ability to self-organise, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a tight-knit team.
11. Conference production skills are desirable but not essential
