Experience:
* Relevant work experience as a Junior Technician or equivalent;
* Knowledge and competence in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
Technical Attributes:
* Creating engineering drawings using AutoCAD;
* Modelling and analysis of linear construction using Civils 3D;
* Designing pipe networks, attenuation systems, and culvert models;
* Applying DMRB and local road standards for access solutions;
* Producing engineering drawings, reports, and calculations.
Responsibilities:
* Support design packages for renewable energy projects, including wind and transmission infrastructure;
* Develop sitelayouts and route options for planning and environmental assessments;
* Design bridges and retaining structures considering flood levels and geotechnical factors;
* Design culverts and sustainable drainage systems, including obtaining necessary approvals;
* Develop public highway designs, including geometry, drainage, and signage;
* Assist in preparing tender submissions and as-built records;
* Work with the project team to identify hazards and risks throughout the project lifecycle;
* Act as a point of contact for clients on selected work packages;
* Follow company quality processes and support financial targets;
* Participate in team meetings and develop technical presentation skills.
Qualifications:
* HND or HNC in Civil Engineering or similar;
* BTEC or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field, or working towards qualification.
