We are seeking a values driven Housing Officer to join a charity that provides world leading support for people with epilepsy through Care, Research and Advocacy. About the role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Housing Officer to join our dedicated Estates and Facilities team to manage and act as the landlord for every aspect of all tenancies across our site. The premises includes 3-4 bed tenanted houses & HMOs as well as The New House, which houses 12 supported living tenants, with additional small outbuildings. You’ll be keeping up to date with legislation and advising the society to ensure compliance. As well as this, you will be liaising with the housing benefits office, conducting regular tenant meetings, managing tenancy agreements, inventories, living conditions, waiting lists, issuing of notices, tenant activities, tenant support, maintenance to properties, EPCs, council tax, TV license utilities & waste. You will ensure all rent is received completely and promptly as well as the administration 6 monthly Health and Safety inspections.
