Job Opportunity: Solicitor – Employment (NQ–5 PQE)
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
A Glasgow firm is seeking a Solicitor to join its Employment team. You’ll manage a varied caseload of mainly contentious matters for both claimant and respondent clients, working within a supportive, modern and well‑regarded practice.
Role Requirements:
* Managing an employment law caseload
* Advising on a range of contentious matters
* Drafting documents and progressing cases efficiently
* Staying updated on legal developments
* Working collaboratively on more complex issues
* Building positive relationships with clients
Experience:
* Qualified Solicitor with NQ–5 PQE in employment law
* Experience in contentious work is helpful
* Able to handle files with supervision as required
Skills:
* Clear communicator and confident with clients
* Good organisational and time‑management abilities
* Effective researcher and comfortable with digital tools
* Team‑focused, proactive and commercially aware
