Job Description
The Locum Plot Sales Conveyancer will be:
3. Managing a full caseload of new build plot sales from instruction to completion
4. Drafting and issuing contracts, transfer documents, and title packs
5. Handling enquiries, dealing with requisitions, and resolving title issues
6. Liaising directly with sales, technical, and site teams to progress matters
7. Managing completions, post-completion processes, and filing with relevant bodies
8. Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and KPIs
9. Monitoring file progression, providing regular updates to stakeholders
10. Mitigating legal risk and maintaining audit-ready casework
The Successful Applicant
The Locum Plot Sales Conveyancer should be:
11. A solicitor, licensed conveyancer, legal executive, or experienced equivalent
12. Fully confident handling new build plot sales without supervision
13. Technically proficient in land law, leasehold/freehold issues, SDLT, and registrations
14. Skilled in using conveyancing systems and document automation tools
15. An excellent communicator, organised and solution-oriented
