* Shape the direction of portering and logistics services, design innovative solutions, and guide operational teams to deliver consistent, high:performing services nationwide.
* Introduce modern digital tools, develop standardised service playbooks, and showcase best:in:class solutions to stakeholders.
* Uphold the highest standards in safety, sustainability, and regulation; strengthen controls and support sector audits.
* Embed environmentally responsible practices across operations, supporting greener workflows and organisational ESG objectives.
* Build trusted relationships, exceed expectations, and contribute expertise to bids and tenders.
* Coach, mentor, and grow capability across multiple teams while fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
* Extensive experience leading portering, logistics, or facilities services, ideally in healthcare or complex operational environments
* Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
* Confidence presenting to clients and cross:functional teams
* Passion for digital tools, data insight, and modern logistics methods
* Expert knowledge of safety, manual handling, infection control, and operational standards
* Analytical thinking and problem:solving mindset
* Full driving licence with willingness to travel
* Relevant facilities management or operational qualifications (IWFM, IOSH, CIWM, CPC)
* Health and Safety certifications highly advantageous
